If you do not have a sterling character, the mother country is thrown into grief. If you do not have love and gratitude, the mother is thrown into grief. When both are happy through you...Your life is then indeed blessed.

If you honour your mother, the Mother of the universe will guard you against harm.
Be one a great scholar or an officer having high authority, one is but a child to one’s mother. Those who forget their duty toward their mother are sure to lose themselves in wilderness. You are but a reflection of your mother. Therefore, first of all you should carry out your duty toward your mother and make her happy.
